JAMB Change Of Course & Institution Form Procedures 2020/2021

This is a notice to all JAMB Candidates who are interested in changing their school or course for 2020/2021 academic session.

Did you made a mistake during your JAMB Registration? Is the mistake related to choosing Wrong Institution or Wrong Course? if so, this article will be of help to you.

This article is created for all candidates to explain what JAMB Change of course and change of institution is all about. so, if you are a JAMB Candidate, please relax and read this article very well as we have answers to most of the questions you may be having currently concerning JAMB Change of Course and Institution.

CHANGE OF COURSE AND INSTITUTION EXPLANATION

For those who don’t know what JAMB Change of Course and Institution is all about, this is a good opportunity for you as i will be taken time to explain it very well to your understanding.

JAMB Change of course and Institution comprises of two things:

1. Change Of Course

2. JAMB Change of Institution

JAMB CHANGE OF COURSE FORM

Change of course which is the first aspect of change of course and Institution combined together is a form released by the management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to enable candidates who wish to switch to another that is entirely different from the one they applied originally during JAMB Registration.

Change of course is usually done within a school of choice applied by the candidate.

Importance

The Change of course form is very important especially for candidates who applied for a particular course in the University and after seeing his or her JAMB Result found out that the Score will not be sufficient to fetch him admission into that course or department.

For the person not to waste another extra year going to write JAMB in order to put in for another course, He or she need to buy the Change of course form and change to another less competitive department in that same school.

JAMB CHANGE OF INSTITUTION

The Second phase is the Change of Institution form which is also a form released by the management of JAMB that allows candidates to switch to another Institution or school either a University, Polytechnic or a College of Education.

JAMB Change of institution is done by a candidate who want to change from One school to another which can be of any of the form below:

University to Another University

University to a Polytechnic

University to a College of Education

Polytechnic to a Polytechnic

Polytechnic to University

Polytechnic to a College of Education

College of Education to a College of Education

College of Education to a University or

College of Education to a Polytechnic.

Importance

This is very helpful for a candidate who a school as first choice during JAMB registration but was unable to score up to the school’s cut off mark .

For the candidate not to waste another in writing JAMB , he or she has to buy a Change of Institution form and change from the school to another which can be in any of the form mentioned above.

While applying for Jamb, a lot applicants may mistakenly choose a wrong course or institution they do not want to study in.

When such happens, the affected person will now seek for ways to know if it will be possible to change the course or university selected during registration.

Jamb change of course and institution helps the affected candidates who made a mistake while selecting they course and or Institution to correct those mistakes On Jamb portal .

JAMB CHANGE OF COURSE AND INSTITUTION STARTING DATE

For those who has been asking questions on when JAMB Change of Course and Institution form is going to come out, this section of this article will be useful.

Because most of the mistakes that requires JAMB change of course and Institution is done during JAMB Registration, Most candidates assume that the form is always out immediately the registration commences.

But to avoid assumptions, i am going to explain about the expected period that change of course and institution will come out.

The likely period that JAMB Change of course and institution will come out are:

* After the release of JAMB Result.

*After The Release of

* JAMB Official Cut Off Mark

After JAMB Result Has Been Released

There are chances that the Management of JAMB Will release Change Of Course Form after JAMB Result has all been released.

This is so because during this period, JAMB Candidates have seen their scores and from there, will be able to now if their scores will fetch them the course or school they applied for.

After The Release of JAMB Official Cut Off Mark

Another time when Change of course and Institution always come out is after the official cut off marks for all schools has been released.

CHANGES THAT REQUIRES JAMB CHANGE OF COURSE OR JAMB CHANGE OF INSTITUTION.

So many people has been asking to know the kinds of changes or data that can be effected on the Change of Course and Institution form. below we are going to explain to you some of the changes you can make.

5 Golden Ways to Boost Academic Performance

5 Golden Ways to Boost Academic Performance

A Sound Academic Performance is the dream of every Student. In fact, everyone is jumping into the wagon of academic race, wants to be among the A-list students. Saying, that they want to be the best in their class, make their parents proud and be popular as well.

Boosting your academic performance is not a mouth thing, neither is it a thing to be achieved just by faith. Success requires some process.

Ever wondered how and why these scholars obtain their grade, what is it that makes their academic performance outstanding and also, what makes them stand apart from other students? Well, the answer is that it is their habit that makes them stand apart and be successful.

Based on personal experience and observing other top students, I have found out five ways you can boost your academic performance.

How to Boost your Academic Performance

1. BE PASSIONATE

Let me start by saying this, boosting your academic performance is not only about hard-work or smart-work; it is a combination of both and a uniqueness within you.

Continually ignite your passion for excellence. Don’t study the course because you are forced to do so. Just love what you are studying, and good academic performance will be secondary.

When you love someone, you do everything to please him/her. As a matter of fact, some persons even die for love. In like manner, your passion for academic excellence certainly pays in the long run. In this case, it will boost your academic performance.

2. BOOST YOUR CONFIDENCE

Before you boost your academic performance, boost your confidence first. Wanting is caught up in the stream of determinism. If you don’t believe that you can improve, then their is certainly a problem. Always tell yourself that you are the best. In fact, what makes you think that you can’t be among the A list students in your class?. Good thinking is one of the tool that boosts your confidence.

3. PRIORITIZE

Don’t major on the minor, neither should you take minor things majorly. Set your priorities right. Spend more time on the things that create the desired result. The result here speaks of your academic performance. You have spent too much time on irrelevant things. You don’t need to watch ‘dirty secrets’ now; all you need is secrets of A list students.

4. CHECK AND HANDLE YOUR AREA OF WEAKNESS

This is the area where many students fail. They complain and blame others for their weakness rather than working on themselves. You expressly lose your originality when you continually blame others for your downfall. Although it takes hard work and discipline to discover and handle your weakness, yet it is worth it. If you do not handle your phobia for calculations, you will continually have challenges in it. In conclusion, know what works for you and what doesn’t. Understand and face your challenge.

5. BE DISCIPLINE

There is no glory without a story, and no product without some processes. It takes discipline to boost your academic performance. You cannot study for eight hours a day; if discipline is taken away.

You should create quality time for your study. Never be tempted to give up on wise and hard work. Kill anything that tries to kill your zeal. Don’t be seen everywhere; have what you stand for. Remember, if you don’t stand for anything, you will fall for everything.

BONUS

6. VALUE OTHER “A LIST” STUDENTS

It is no news that who you follow determines what follows you. Your friends are a picture of your future. One of my secrets is that I try to get closer to those I want to be like. As time goes on, I end up being like them or even better.

Crisis occur as FUDMA set to appoint new Directors

The Federal University, Dutsin-ma is alleged to be in another fresh leadership management crisis following recent replacement of some members of the University’s management committee by the University’s governing council.

Some people alleged that the Chairperson of the Governing Council seems to have gone beyond her oversight powers by administering examination and oral interviews on candidates that will replaced part of the University Management committee.

The candidates interviewed are for the positions of Director Procurement, University Medical Director, Director Security Services, Director Legal Department and Director, Physical planning and Works.

However, it was alleged that while the candidates for Directors of Procurement, University Medical Unit, Security Services, and Legal Services were all appointed having scored the highest points, the last one, the Director, Physical planning and Works is yet to be appointed because the Council Chairperson did not like the candidate with the highest points, according to one of the university’s staff who pleaded for anonymity.

While reacting, the Director Public Relations of the University, Habibu Matazu said the allegations are baseless and at least ‘needless’ at this time when the University management are working hard in building the institution.

Mr Habibu also said that scoring the highest marks is not the only criteria being considered in promotion and appointment in University setting, character is also an important integral part of the selection processes.

On the allegation that the Council Chairperson has hijacked the University Management’s duty by setting the exam questions by herself; administering the questions and invigilating the exams, Mr Habibu said the University council has the powers to do so.

Welcome message from AG SUG President FUDMA CHAPTER to both Returning and Fresh Students

WELCOME MESSAGE TO BOTH FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS FROM OFFICE OF THE ACTING PRESIDENT FUDMA SUG COMRADE NASIRU ADAMU

Firstly, I wish to welcome both the returning and fresh students to campus for the 2019/2020 session. I wish to congratulate the returning students on their success at the 2018/2019 session's examination. I also share the same joy with the fresh students on their admission to the university this session.

The need to provide both the fresh and returning students with adequate and up-to-date information on activities of the university as well as the need to bridge communication gap informed the review of the existing student's handbook. The standard and content of the publication makes it the authoritative source of information necessary, for the guidance of all students while their stay lasts in the university.

I wish to use this opportunity to remind all students that cultism is an abomination in this university. You must therefore shun it. As you are aware, we live in a world of speed - of faster communications, faster travels, faster trades, faster time to market, faster results. Time is indeed a precious resource that we should not waste. Yet there is so much we miss, so much we fail to understand if we don’t regard time itself as an opportunity.. True scholarship requires you to ask questions that you may never be able to answer, to follow leads that may prove to be dead ends, to explore with a rigour and a depth that require persistence as well as discipline. As such, I enjoin you to ask questions all the time. In your lecture rooms, libraries, hostels and even during your fun-catching times, let quest for knowledge spur new questions from within you.

To the returning students, my message to you this academic session, is never to take your academics for granted. The era of believing that there is a short-cut to success is gone. And there can only be one way and this is the “HIGH WAY” to being true to yourselves. I like to advise you never to take your studies for granted for any reason. Mind the company you keep, manage your meager resources prudently and apply wisdom in all that you do.

Finally as I welcome you all again, and encourage you in your dedication to your studies, I like to promise the commitment of my colleagues and I towards your welfare and success throughout your sojourn in FUDMA. I commit you all into the mighty hands of our Creator. ALL SHALL BE WELL WITH YOU.

Students Union Government,

NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM COMR, NASIRU ADAMU ACTING SUG PRESIDENT FUDMA

NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM COMRADE NASIRU ADAMU ACTING PRESIDENT STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT FEDERAL UNIVERSITY DUTSIN-MA, KATSINA STATE.

As we usher in the year 2020, it is time for us to reflect on the last twelve months and to look towards new beginnings. We appreciate God for giving us a beautiful students union endowed with unity and boundless opportunities. Yes, 2019 was quite challenging to most of us, particularly, for struggling students, but we remain grateful to God for helping us to weather the storms and keeping us to see yet another year.

I charge the students to be inspired as 2020 begins, because we are on our way towards realizing our collective destiny: The student union of our dreams; a roundly developed, secure and prosperous union as envisioned in the Union development blueprint.

Although the path to the future is replete with thorns, we remain resolute. We would overcome the challenges of today with the same resilience and indomitable spirit that has continued to inspire us throughout history.

Today, we stand on the threshold of a new dawn. I am happy that we are from an institution that offers a great hope and a lot of promises for our future. Therefore, looking to the months ahead, my message to the students is to encourage us all to key into the ambitious path of building the new environment where the present and future generations can live in peace and enjoy brighter prospects irrespective of ethnicity, religion or cultural diversity.

The good news is that we have taken off already on this journey of hope, and with God helping us, we shall surely succeed.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL FUDMITES.

TETFUND PROVIDE 5 BUSES TO REDUCE MOBILITY BURDEN ON STUDENTS UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE ACTING SUG PRESIDENT

TETFUND PROVIDE 5 BUSES TO REDUCE MOBILITY BURDEN ON STUDENTS UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE ACTING SUG PRESIDENT. - COMR, NASIR ADAMU

Caretaker Committee Students Union Government, Federal University Dutsin-ma under the leadership of the Acting President Comr, Nasir Adamu have done a good job for the well being of the Fudmites.

One of the students challenges is mobility across the campus which he has forwarded his complaint to the management of the institution on the need to provide more vehicles to ease students mobility challenges and the aim has been achieved. Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) has provided five (5) buses to Federal University Dutsin-ma, Katsina State as a means to drastically reduce mobility burden on the students.

Another good news is that he has pleaded with the university management to have mercy and pardon those that were withdraw to reinstate them and step them down instead of withdrawal. This is to say if you're going to 300level you will be step-down to 200level.

On the other hand, Works are rapidly in progress at the university permanent site so as to enable quick completion so that the major university affairs move to the new site. The university permanent site is currently undergoing round fencing. The fence serve as a security measure which failure of it will render the university permanent site vulnerable.
